Raised by hippie parents who exposed their offspring to the pastoral sounds of Simon & Garfunkel and Joni Mitchell, the siblings have conjured up a darn tootin' sexy folk rock album frothing with punk sensibilities, humor and a dash of Southern fried twang. With tongues deeply in cheeks, "Boring" bemoans the dullness of nights on the town in Paris and New York along with the occasional ménage a trios atop a grinding beat and scintillating harmonies."
