MR. MARCO'S V7

SPACERASER

INDEPENDENT

Is this what legendary Weather Report bassist Jaco Pastorius had in mind when he coined the controversial phrase "punk jazz?" Or Miles, when he dared the establishment with "directions in music?" The answer is yes. MM V7 will hit you over the head and then some with their instrumental bitchs brew of funk, punk, acid-house, skrunk, neo-jazz, metal, electronic, and avant-garde. Each player is a virtuoso: drummer Kent "Precious Metalz’ Burnham, bassist Johnny "License Bolt" Hamil, guitarist Marco "Hair Party" Pascolini and console/steel / Theremin / moog man Mike "Creeping Death" Stover can outplay any rock cats on the scene today and give a few jazzers a run for their money to boot. Choice cut: "When the Good Foot of God Kicks You In the Butt, Keep Dancin" -which sounds just as the title implies. To describe each track would be like trying to explain the universe. Simply insert all the genres listed above and press play. Akin to the early Red Hot Chili Peppers, Frank Zappa, Tortoise, Medeski Martin & Wood, Herbie Hancock's Headhunters, and the great Parliament Funkadelic, Spaceraser is the bomb (for lack of a better phrase) for a new generation!
