The new Air album, Love 2, might strike you as a little different. The reason? Well this go round the French electronic pop duo sound more at ease with being a band. Whether they’re being delightfully whimsical on “Sing Sang Sung,” or giving us a little Blonde Redhead with “So Light Is Her Footfall” it sounds more natural. Now this might have to do with the addition of veteran drummer Joey Waronker, or perhaps it’s because they produced the album on their own, who really knows. No matter what it is it just sounds good, so as the French say…bravo!
