THOR

What is your first musical memory?
Coming out of the womb and hearing "Hound Dog" by Elvis.

What was the first album you owned?
The Beatles second album. It was a very big influence on me as far as song writing goes. I loved the melodic choruses of the songs. It also made me want to become a musician/performer and start a band.

Were you not a musician, what would your profession be?
I currently am a movie producer, actor, and musician. So I would just concentrate on the movie production and acting.

What song do you wish you had written?
I always wished I had written "Day Tripper" by The Beatles.

What was the first concert you attended?
In the early seventies I saw Led Zeppelin in Vancouver. I then started to get into a more heavier sound with my band.

Who would be in your ultimate three-band, live performance lineup, dead or alive?
Jeff Beck on guitar, Paul McCartney on bass, Ginger Baker on drums.

What instrument would you like to play, that you currently cannot?
The violin. It can evoke a lot of emotion.

With whom would you like to collaborate?
Paul McCartney. That would be a dream come true.

Which one of your songs would you put in a time capsule?
"Devastation Of Musculation"

What album can you not live without?
Sgt. Pepper. That is the one album that changed music as we know it. There are beautiful ballads and yet maybe the first inkling of what would be called heavy metal with "Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (reprise).

Who was your first pop star romantic crush/fantasy?
Suzi Quatro. She had a cool image and "48 Crash" was truly a power pop song. I would like to redo that song.
