What is your first musical memory?

Zagar (sp?) & Evans, In The Year 2525. First record, a single, that I was possessed to buy. I also remember hearing The Boxer by Simon & Garfunkel and thinking, ‘gee this rock music is hard to hear the words to’. At the time I was into Herb Alpert and Beaver & Krauss / Terry Riley.

What was the first album you owned?

In C by Terry Riley. Or it may have been Uncle Meat because I had borrowed In C. Can't remember.

Were you not a musician, what would your profession be?

By training, a micro-biologist. By inclination, office supply superstore clerk.

What song do you wish you had written?

“The River” by Bruce Springsteen.

What was the first concert you attended?

Mothers of Invention.

Who would be in your ultimate three-band, live performance lineup; dead or alive?

Hawkwind, Velvets, King Crimson.

What instrument would you like to play, that you currently cannot?

Guitar

Current live version of “Dark”.

Never had one.
