BUTCH WALKER

What is your first musical memory?
Elvis Presley album covers from my mom's collection. I thought he was scary, fat, retarded....and cool.

What was the first album you owned?
The Monkees Greatest Hits. I know... You are jealous

Were you not a musician, what would your profession be?
I would be a Vet. And be very sad all the time. Or a movie director. Or dead?

What song do you wish you had written, and why?
“All I Want Is You” by U2.

What was the first concert you attended?
Kiss when I was 8 yrs. old in Atlanta.

Who would be in your ultimate three-band live performance lineup?
3 piece? Me, Prince, Dre, and Freddie Mercury... That's 4... I failed school.

What instrument would you like to play, that you currently cannot?
An airplane.

With whom would you like to collaborate?
Jesus, Buddha, Allah, and L. Ron Hubbard need to make a hiphop, supergroup record. Ima produce it...

Which one of your songs would you put in a time capsule?
Probably “Joan.” Because there will always be abuse issues. Unlike a political song that reflects the current events.

What album can you not live without?
Jellyfish (Spilt Milk), Kiss (Alive), Queen (News of the World), Elvis Costello (Armed Forces)

What was your first pop star romantic crush/fantasy?
Probably Joan Jett. But I hear she likes girls which cancels out that notion I have for wanting to fuck Elvis Costello. Sorry... Just saying...
