Being sung to and rocked to sleep by my mother.
What was the first album you owned?
The first album I owned was a children’s music compilation record with “Monster Mash� and “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka dot Bikini� on it. I remember it having a purple Frankenstein on the cover.
Were you not a musician, what would your profession be?
Homeless person? I’d probably make a good lawyer as well.
What song do you wish you had written?
“Life on Mars� or “Maybe I’m Amazed�
What was the first concert you attended?
Ray Charles at The Universal Amphitheater in the 70’s when I was a kid.
Who would be in your ultimate three-band, live performance lineup, dead or alive?
What does three-band mean? Are you guys British? Does that mean three piece? Elvin Jones or John Bonham on drums, Mick Ronson on guitar, I’d play bass, and Mike Garson on keys! Oh- I get it - maybe you mean what show would I like to see most? If that’s the case… Sly and The Family Stone, Ziggy-era Bowie, and John Coltrane before he went free jazz - like Blue Train-era.
What instrument would you like to play, that you currently cannot?
Cello
With whom would you like to collaborate?
Brian Eno, Tony Visconti, Roy Thomas Baker, Wyclef Jean, and Todd Rundgren although I’m not so sure about this whole Cars thing…

Who was your first pop star romantic crush/fantasy?
OK - I had a crush on Paul McCartney when I was little - I’m sure like 150,000 other girls did too. (Now George is my fav Beatle though) In my teens I was obsessed with Mickey Finn from T Rex. I still have a crush on Bowie!
