AMPLIFIER has been covering Indie Rock (+ Artists That Matter) since October of 1996. After eleven years, the printed-on-paper version succumbed to financial pressures early in 2007, resulting in our current web-exclusive format.

We try to cover as much music as time and resources allow, the bulk of it being characterized as indie rock and the rest being made up of highly inventive hybrids thereof. Our main focus is on CD Reviews, AMP3 Radio (individual song and entire album streams), Amplified Artist (a weekly artist spotlight) and Artist-Driven columns featuring what we consider to be talented, innovative and interesting artists.
